I am so pumped for this tutorial and have to say how much fun it was to make! With wedding season around the corner, I wanted to do a tutorial on how to get ready for your next indian wedding. The tips in this video are not just for the bride but also for the attendees of all races! To help with this tutorial, I had my good friend and makeup genius Stefanie Syat join. I thought it would be fun to start bringing in the pros that I learned all of my tips from over the years to give you guys the chance to meet them every once in awhile. Stef has done makeup for several indian weddings and has some great tips to share (most of which I have been using for yrs with my own little personal twist to them of course). As you can see from the pics below, we sort of love each other - the whole shoot was one big love fest :)

As you may have noticed, the video quality and production of this tutorial is slightly better than usual ;) okay...it's way better! That's because I was lucky enough to have my talented friends Jami Saunders & Andre Costantini help put it together. They are both insanely talented and it was so fun working on this with them. Although I can't promise that all my videos will look this pretty (gotta love the iPhone tutorials!), I hope that I can continue making some really high quality ones when I bring guests into the tutorials. Have some fun partnerships in the works :)

Also, how beautiful is my outfit & jewelry? Everything I'm wearing is from Luxemi.com, which is a company founded by two family friends of mine. Luxemi makes it so you can rent or buy indian jewelry & accessories online. So excited to share that Luxemi is offering 15% off everything on their site through end of year for all of my followers using code "luxelovesdeeps". So cool right? Gotta love a family friend connection ;) happy shopping!

Oh and I can't forget about my hair! I really wish there was enough time to make this into a makeup + hair tutorial, but I think an Indian wedding hair tutorial will have to be on its own because there are so many fun tips to share. For the look in my tutorial, I went to my friend Jeff Chastain who's he's a celeb hair styling genius & brains behind PARLOR By Jeff Chastain (you guys have heard me rave about his sea salt spray - it's everything). I told him I wanted to take a modern twist on the traditional indian braid & and this was his masterpiece. I love it because it looks so effortless yet put together. Products Jeff used are listed below!
